Summaries: Pierre, Pierrot Tuesday, December 30, 2008 Pierre Courtemanche. Aged 18 years at death, he was a decidedly unremarkable man. But yet the legacy of intrigue and scandal he left behind was a incredible one. Pierre Courtemanche, more famously known as the Pierrot Blanc, was nothing but a sideshow throughout his life. A child sold to and raised up in a middling, travelling circus, he grew up unspectacularly as a pantomime who was solidly average. Had it not been an accident with the circus' tiger, the escape, the mauling and eventually fatal infection that would claim his life, he would have remained the middling everyman that had been the Pierrot Blanc. This was a man who would leave a legacy, a trail of accidents that led to the ultimate uncovering of a great political scandal. Believe me, she may have been a big fan of the "date one guy to forget the one before" type of personality, but nobody actually thought she would jump straight onto that strange quiet guy at the back of the classroom, the guy who was so entirely different that there had to be a span of at least two universes between he and the ex. Everybody in the crowd Reisa hung out with was shocked for a moment, but within minutes managed to get back to normal. It may not be a rumour, as in it was a truth, but this was a girl who was heart-broken and trying to hide it. The poor girl, the poor poor girl -- her attempt to hide her case of heart break was so transparent! They cried for her, her brave front was hidden behind her muddled choice of fling, and this had to be proof of her own confused mind, that she didn't know what she was doing. Yes yes, gabbled the little collection of airheads, that had to be it! Reisa was confused! And so the rumour was spread. And so the level quietened considerably about the matter. Of course, the only person who had a good laugh out of it was Reisa, the subject, herself. Nobody knew this, oh no, not even that little idiot she had gotten to play this charade with, nor her friends nor parents, not even Xenia knew this, but she actually did like the idiot. She thought him amazing, an intelligent life form amongst the dull grey creatures that accompanied her day to day. He was an interest, someone who glowed and amused her. Someone who could hold an intelligent conversation, be witty maybe even a little nerdy. She found that adorable, and so when her current relationship ended with its ragged edges, she went to him. It had been a simplistic matter, she'd only simply distanced herself and placed herself somewhere desirably close and far down the spectrum, where the less "in" crowd could get to her. She stayed away from her friends, buried herself in books and studied openly where she had never dared to. Nobody would ever suspect anything other than she was heartbroken. Actually? She was never more in love. Labels: summaries Endings Saturday, December 6, 2008 And so it had to end up this way. Labels: drabble Love Story: KichiRei "You know what," she said, running a hand through her blonde hair and thoughtfully lavishing her attention on their fine strands that were twisted into the firm braid now looped around her hand, "How about this, let's break up and get it over with." To her amazement however, instead of his expected half-hearted shrug and perhaps suave comment, he smiled at her. "I knew you were going to say that." And everything just went downhill from there. Labels: drabble about one xREDballoon about meIt was the username that was adopted either in late August or early September of 2009. It was the combined effect of too many games on Orisinal (especially High Delivery) and also her long-time love for how the large red carnival balloons when they fly away. about meFinalized as a digital signature only in November of the same year, it has since been used everywhere: her previous Gaia account, her account on bubbl.us, and of course every recent endeavor on web and graphic design. It was an aim of hers to use it as something of a brand. From her sketches to simple blog layouts, one xREDballoon presents is her favourite signature as of now. about meone xREDballoon is the internet handle of a girl, born on a wet day in the early morning of late February. Although astrologically she is a Pisces, she displays many of the Aquarian traits, possibly as a result of being born near the time. She likes the concept of beauty in its most primitive classical form, ruffles layered upon each other generously for flounce or decor, detailed black lace be it crochet or woven, a whole palette of colours from turquoise to grey. She is charmed by the way an old well-read book smells on a wet rainy day, and the way the pages feel, all crinkly and wise under her fingers as she turns the page. She loves the inviting appeal of a blank notebook, and a good gel-ink pen in the colour of the sky. about meLearn more about her in her personal blog. about And Then She Fell about meAndthenshe-fell@blogspot was named as such in October 09, on a whim and on a wish to match the layout that time. And Then She Fell was a lot of things back then: a roleplay layout (in bbcode), a roleplay idea (which was never developed) and also the words emblazoned in huge Ruritania upon an image which showed a falling girl. That was the beginnings of this writing blog as the all-new concept of And Then She Fell. about meFrom the start, And Then She Fell has always been a semi-personal blog. While visitors are not unwelcomed, no particular effort is put into censoring the content or to sound polite. Just as well that the blog touches on intangible unimportant things, for if it were to talk of life and its nuances, things would sour quickly and it would become a blog of cynical views and criticism. archives categories favourites |
